Afro-Asian Organization Hails Morocco's Efforts in Counter-Terrorism
Cairo - Organization for Solidarity for the People of Africa and Asia (OSPAA) praised Morocco's effort in security surveillance, as part of its preventive measures for combating terrorism.

Morocco's efforts concerning preventive measures for combating terrorism were highlighted in OSPAA's statement issued in Cairo following a meeting of the permanent secretariat of the Organization, chaired by Hilmi El Hadidi, president of the OSPAA, with the president of the Moroccan Committee for Solidarity, Talaa Saoud Atlassi, on Thursday.
During this meeting, it was agreed to hold the next meeting of the Afro-Asian, which is slated for October 19-20, in Morocco.
According to the statement, the secretariat thanked the Moroccan commission, Morocco, HM the King and the Moroccan people for their commitment to organize this meeting in the kingdom.
The statement noted that the international terrorism is not only threatening the region of the Middle East, but also the African continent.
Terrorism began to spread in Asia, particularly in Southern-Asia, before hitting Europe, the statement pointed out, adding that this expansion of terrorist organizations, such as ISIS and Qaida alongside other groups that pledged alliance to them, continues in different regions, becoming a serious challenge for all the countries and peoples of the world.
