Abu Dhabi: 5th Moroccan-Emirati Joint Committee Kicks Off

Abu Dhabi - The 5th session of the Morocco-United Arab Emirates joint committee opened, on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, under the co-chairmanship of Foreign Minister Nacer Bourita and his Emirati counterpart, HH Sheikh Abdellah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. The session is held as an implementation of the Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI and HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the State of the United Arab Emirates, during the latest royal visit to the UAE, on November 11.

The agenda of this session will discuss the political consultations between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to the elaboration of recommendations and draft laws to be submitted to the joint committee. The preparatory meeting for this session was chaired on Monday, on the Moroccan side, by director of the Mashreck, the Gulf and the Arab and Islamic organizations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Fouad Akhrif and, on the Emirati side, by deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in charge for economic and trade affairs Mohamed Charaf.
