5th Moroccan-Beninese joint commitee held in Cotonou

Rabat - The Moroccan-Beninese cooperation joint commitee is holding its fifth session on July 9-10 in Cotonou, a statement by the foreign affairs ministry said on Tuesday.

 This session, which is part of reinforcing friendship and cooperation ties between Morocco and Benin, is an occasion for both parties to examine bilateral cooperation and study opportunities likely to give impetus to their partnership to match the excellent brotherly relations between the two countries, the same source said.

Foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani is leading the Moroccan delegation to the event.

On the sidelines of the session, El Otmani will meet with Beninese peer Nassirou Arifari Bako, as well as with other top offcials on means to further cooperation between the two parties.

Agreements on trade, agriculture and health will be signed on this occasion.
