3rd National Industry Conference 20 February 2013 in Tangier

This event, organized by the Ministry in partnership with the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco, will be an opportunity to take a mid-term review of the National Pact for Industrial Emergence (PNEI), and take stock of the achievements made by the ongoing commitment and involvement of all stakeholders, public and private.

The 3rd Industry confrence will be initiated under the them  "Emergence, a momentum"  in the context of monitoring business targets of the Covenant, and displaying visibility and transparency to strengthen existing operators and attract new  investors with the goal of making Morocco a real industrial platform globally recognized, the statement added.

EINP is a contract program , signed in 2009, under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, which seals the mutual obligations of the State and the private sector for the implementation of the strategy of industrial development in Morocco.

It was designed around two main ideas, namely the need, firstly, to focus efforts on sectors where Morocco has a competitive advantage, called "global Crafts of Morocco (MMM)" and gathering professions automotive, aerospace, electronics, food processing, textiles and leather and offshoring and, secondly, the need to strengthen the overall corporate fabric, through four major cross-functional projects: strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs, improving the business climate, training and the development of "Integrated Industrial Platforms P2I."

This meeting will be an opportunity to highlight mainly the achievements, the further dynamics of the Covenant, the potential of the Moroccan industrial sector in terms of investments and exports, offers for enhancing the competitiveness of industrial enterprises and prospects for the Moroccan industry, through the deployment of new commitments. The aim is also to provide investors with the opportunity to conduct business meetings and learn about the components of Morocco offers, according to organizers.

 
Taking  part in this third edition  will be nearly 1,500 national and international guests, including business leaders and professional federations, Administration officials, heads of consular organizations and agencies involved in economic development.

Since the launch of the implementation of measures EINP a real dynamic is installed through the achievements recorded by the unwavering commitment of stakeholders should be maintained in a sustainable manner to build the Moroccan industry tomorrow.

The objective is to maintain a strong mobilization sites of the Covenant and a strong commitment of all  the stakeholders to achieve the strategic choices and the challenges Moroccan industry must and will face.
