17th International Nomads Festival on 19-21 March in M'hamid El Ghizlane
Rabat - The 17 edition of the International Festival of Nomads will be held from March 19 to 21 in M'hamid El Ghizlane, at the initiative of the World Nomads Association. This cultural meeting will feature concerts, conferences, shows of traditional activities and sports (camel races, hockey on sand...) and other artistic activities, organizers said in a press release.
The event will be marked by the participation of musicians from Somaliland, Niger, India, Senegal, Mali, Algeria, Poland and Italy, in addition to local artists. The Nomads Festival is an annual multidisciplinary event that attracts people from all around the world to celebrate the richness and diversity of nomadic culture.
The event is supported by the ministry of Culture, the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the Provincial Council of Zagora, the Regional Council and several other partners.
