The regional project YAANI – The Young Arab Analysts Network International – initiated by the British Council in collaboration with Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs – United Kingdom) and with the support of the British Embassy in Rabat- is hosting, in partnership with the Mediterranean Youth Forum (FOMEJE) a seminar .

The theme is" Youth and the importance of Policies” at the Centre d’Accueil et de Conférences (Reception and Conference center) in Hay Riad – Rabat, on May 26, 2012 at 9:00 am.
During this event, the first Moroccan group of policy analysts will have the opportunity to present, exchange and share their works on the following issues: Sustainable development, Youth participation in the decision making process, Good governance, Medias, and violence against women. The seminar will be held in the presence of experts, politicians, academicians, civil society activists, bloggers, and other young people, and will be an occasion for the YAANI Young Policy Analysts to share the vision of the different parties about each issue.
The YAANI project is a network that unites the first generation of young policy analysts of the region. It provides an arena for dialogue, collaboration and action-research across the Arab region and the UK.
35 young policy analysts from 5 countries of the MENA region: Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco are taking part in this ambitious adventure. YAANI, an innovative platform, will give the participants the opportunity to discuss the key national and regional issues with a view to reaching political recommendations in order to improve the life of the community in which they operate.
The meeting sessions of the young analysts were structured into training modules organized in Rabat and Mohammedia-Morocco, in Tunisia, and Amman. During these sessions, six issues were discussed by the young analysts: Sustainable development, Youth participation in the decision making process, Good governance, Medias, and violence against women.
