Yemen: Morocco Calls for to Promoting national reconciliation, Extraordinary Meeting of Arab League
Rabat - Morocco on Tuesday called on all Yemeni stakeholders to remain committed to national reconciliation and the achievements of national dialogue, calling for an extraordinary meeting of the Arab League to tackle the deteriorating situation in this country.

The Kingdom is following with great concern the developments in Yemen during the last 24 hours, with the use of force, which could undermine the political process resulting from the comprehensive national dialogue in Yemen, the Gulf Initiative and the efforts of the UNSG Special Envoy in Yemen, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Morocco also urged all Yemeni stakeholders to "remain attached to national reconciliation and the achievements of national dialogue and its resolutions, in a bid to preserve the security and stability of Yemen and its territorial integrity".

The Kingdom also called for "an extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League to tackle the deteriorating situation in this brother country, the implementation of the League's pertinent resolutions and the support of the Yemeni people to overcome the security and political crisis, as well as supporting the sustainable development in Yemen".
