World Series of Boxing: Morocco Atlas Lions to Face Mexico Guerreros on January 23 in Mexico City
Morocco's boxing team "Morocco Atlas Lions" will start the VI season of the World Series of Boxing (WSB), organized by the International Association of Boxing, on January 23th with a clash against "Mexico Guerreros" in Mexico city, the Moroccan Royal Federation of Boxing said.
The other match of Group B between "USA Knockouts" and "British Lions Hearts" will take place on January 21 in Miami.
The national team will then face "British Lions Hearts" on February 5th in Casablanca, then "USA Knockouts" on February 19th and "Mexico Guerreros" on March 4th.
On March 17th, the Moroccan team will travel to England to face the "The British Lions Hearts".
"The Morocco Atlas Lions" will finish this season of the World Series of Boxing with a trip to the USA in order to face "USA Knockouts" on April 1st.
The boxers who will compete for Morocco in this season are Azedine Majdoubi (56kg), Abdelhak Aatkani (64kg), Mohamed Hamout (56 kg), Abdeljalil Abouhamada (+91kg), Said Arnouf (75kg) and Imad Ahayoune (-49kg), National technical director Mounir Barbouchi told MAP.
