Up to 5 years imprisonment for 8 people including French national on terror charges

Salé - The first degree criminal court in charge of terrorism affairs at the Salé appeal court's annexe gave verdicts ranging from 3 to 5 years imprisonment with no remission against eight people, including a French national, on terrorism charges.

The court sentenced French Pierre Pascal to 5 years imprisonment with no remission after finding he was guilty of forming a gang, committing terrorist acts as part of a collective plot to seriously undermine public order, and defending terrorism.

The court also sentenced two people to four years imprisonment with no remission and four others to three years in prison with no remission for forming a criminal gang to prepare and perpetrate terrorist acts as part of a collective plot to seriously undermine public order, and funding terrorist crimes.
