UN committee commends Morocco's commitment to protecting migrant workers
We commend Morocco's commitment to forging ahead with the implementation of the provisions of the convention as shows its dialogue with UN bodies, Ahmadou Tall, member of the said committee, said after the submission of Morocco's report to the body.

According to the Moroccan delegation, the debate took place in a constructive climate marked by the sharing of viewpoints on actions carried out for a better implementation of commitments.

The report provides information on the protection of immigrants' rights given that Morocco is both a host and transit country, said Fatoumata Abdourhamana Dicko.

The members of the UN body did not fail to acknowledge the organization, in July in Morocco, of a regional seminar of experts on migration on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the entry into force of the international Convention for the protection of migrant workers.
