Washington - U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, John J. Sullivan, will visit Morocco at the end of June, as part of a regional tour, said Thursday the U.S Department of State.

During his stay in Morocco, the Deputy Secretary "will meet with senior government officials to discuss a range of political, economic, and security issues," the same source said in a statement.

“Morocco's important contributions to the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS” will be on the agenda of these discussions, the Department of State noted.

He will also meet with a group of Moroccan youth in Casablanca, as well as representatives and leaders from civil society, it added.

The U.S official’s trip is part of a tour to Europe and North Africa on June 25-2 “to discuss a range of U.S. priorities, including joint efforts to maintain an enduring defeat of ISIS and promote cooperation on regional and global security challenges.”
