Two Moroccan writers on short list of 2014 International Prize for Arabic Fiction
Amman - Two Moroccan novelists are on the short list of six finalists vying for the 2014 Booker Prize of the Arab novel, organizers announced Monday in Amman.
"Tayer Azraq Nader Youhalliq Mai" (A rare blue bird flies with me) by Youssef Fadel and "Taghribat al Abdi al Machhour bi Ould al Hamriyya" by Abderrahim Habibi, are the shortlisted novels, organizers said during a press conference in the presence of the jury chaired by Saudi critic and scholar, Saad El Bazi.
The shortlist also includes the works by Khaled Khalifa (Syria), Ahmed Saadawi and In'am Kajaji (Irak), and Ahmed Mourad (Egypt).SE
