Tunisian FM Thanks Morocco for its Support in His Country's Democratic Transition
Rabat - Tunisian Foreign Minister khemaies jhinaoui expressed, here Thursday, his country's gratitude to Morocco, under the leadership of HM king Mohammed VI, for its support in the democratic transition in Tunisia.
During a meeting with Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane, Mr. Jhinaoui reiterated the apologies of Tunisian Head of Government Habib Essid who could not start his visit to the Kingdom in the scheduled dates for health reasons, reaffirming Mr. Essid's will to pay this visit at the earliest opportunity available.
The talks between Benkirane and Tunisian FM focused particularly on bilateral cooperation and common socio-economic challenges.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Ambassador of Tunisia to Morocco, was an opportunity to recall the many facets of brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries, said a statement from the Department of the Head of Government.
