Tunisia: Aggressive within our walls, and moving overseas

Jeudi 8 Novembre 2012

Now we can speak of "Tunisian jihadists" and nobody dares to say otherwise. Yesterday, the phenomenon (there was one already) collapsed under the weight of the asphyxiating " law of omerta"" imposed by a police cynic who stubbornly refused to recognize the involvement yet it was proven that their acolytes in the holy wars were known in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tunisia: Aggressive within our walls, and moving overseas
This was evidenced by the arrest at the time, not less than seven Tunisian jihadists and their transfer into the infamous Guantanamo prison, not to mention the repatriation of several bodies of their countrymen killed on the battlefield in Iraq. In other words, the Tunisian jihadism is not born after the revolution. But here it goes blithely from precisely the salvation of January 14, 2011, from embryonic normal growth, helped by the release of some 1,208 Tunisian prisons Salafists, most of whom were convicted under Ben Ali in perpetuity.

Inevitably, it is the latter that is the danger today. An even more serious threat that our country has suffered since a wave of violence  of unprecedented severity (assaults on law enforcement officers, police and the National Guard ransacked vehicles internal security forces burned, embassy attacks and school American battles with traffickers alcoholic beverages ...). In parallel, the jihadists have raided several mosques, created their own militias "to maintain order", while continuing, via Facebook, to shoot red balls on the government, the opposition, the laity, and of course the West, Uncle Sam at the head. All in line with a strategy with expansionist aims, the objective being to strengthen their ranks in order to consolidate their presence in the four corners of the country.

The extraordinary tactic of brainwashing

To gain followers, jihadists have made their neighbourhoods their workhorses. It is in these deprived areas where illiterate, young offenders live and habitual criminals easily manageable they recruit, through a diabolical charm offensive. Indeed, once the targeted victim and coaxed it is an extraordinary brainwashing operation that will be submitted. He bites him swallow? Well, it is the virtues of Islam to the benefits of the "Shahada" (death in the service of religion) through the entrenchment of the hopelessness of a country going into the lion's den, because "anti-Sharia"! The lesson is, moreover, administered with patience, replete with verses from the Koran and, above market, the  easy word. . The rest is known: when the fish takes the bait, farewell Bacchus, finished crime and jail time, and ... focus on the mosque for the sake of jihadism!

The exodus in the name of holy war

However, our jihadists do not just hit "at home". They also export. Indeed, after their first evidence in the early 90s, in Iraq and Afghanistan, we talk about them today in Libya, Mali and Syria. Here and there they go well with the obscurantist groups sent by Al-Qaeda in the name of holy war. Moreover, frequently theyare are now reaching the three countries, and reports of arrests or deaths in the ranks  of Tunisian jihadists (see attached statistics). But it is Syria that their presence is, at this time, the largest. Hence the many losses they continue to suffer, as evidenced by the revelations of the Syrian media and repatriation continued their coffins in Tunisia. But intelligence experts note that "nearly 80% of Tunisian jihadists operating abroad are not made for this kind of war, because they are either poorly trained or not trained at all. Only those who have done the hard apprenticeship in the famous training camps of Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan or Pakistan can get by. " It is mostly aspiring jihadists who suffer the most, because without experience and training in handling weapons, they have only their courage and torturous brainwashing hoped to assert the field battle. An adventure with disastrous consequences generally, but, alas, to which they walk with their eyes closed, the promise of "Shahada" helping ...

The plight of the families of jihadists

In this vein, we can never say it enough, it is the families of jihadists who pay heavy tribute to the adventure of their offspring, in what looks like a terrible ordeal. Indeed, if it is not going to recover a coffin at the airport, it is the daily anguish of the lack of news they have their business. These desperate families assume they are, in one way or another, the responsibility of the reckless and suicidal exodus of their children? "We can not do anything," says Ferida Ben Salah, 65, pale faced, who states that "Salem (Editor's note, child) has informed us of his intention to seek a job in Libya before with a friend who lives in our neighborhood Jebel Lahmar does not reveal that he has left to Syria for jihad. " After brushing  away a tear, Mrs. Ben Salah added that "Salem was a nice guy, who said his prayers regularly since his release from prison, two years ago, his associations were not suspicious. And that is why we, his father and I endorsed his alleged trip to Libya. " And to conclude, still worried: "This is an opportunity to make an urgent appeal to the Government to make arrangements with the Syrian authorities and the embassy, because I want my child, whether dead or alive ". Answering, Khaled Tarrouche, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, told us that "this is not a matter within the jurisdiction of the government, simply because they are isolated acts beyond our control, given that there is no law preventing a citizen from legally going abroad. Then, in a context of civil war, it is virtually impossible to count the number of jihadists or contact them on the ground. "
