Tunisan government ministers announced
Sihem Badi, Minister of women and Family Affairs is  the only woman senior minister.

Ali Laraydeh called for " a solid national unity" and said that whilst the government remained Ennhada led, with the same partners the CPR and Ettakatol it contained a number of inependent non political ministers. In a post on its Facebook page, Ennahda said its members only made up 28% of Mr Larayedh's government, down from 40% in the previous coalition. Independents formed 48% of the new cabinet, the party said.

Concerning the dissolution the Revolution Protection Leagues, Ali Larayedh said that the proposed government members were unanimous concerning the imperative to enforce the law.

However Ennhada has failed to attract other secular parties to the coalition and remains back where its started with the CPR and Ettakatol. There is now a pressing need to restore the Tunisian economy which has suffered badly from continued clashes between islamist and secular elements of society which has adversely affected Tunisia's image with a knock on effect the tourism industry and foreign investment. However the marathon negotiations have produced a government without incurring more violence and demonstrations and the new government is hoping that order can be maintained so that the consitution can be finally completed and elections held in October or November this year.
