Paris - "Thousand colors' Morocco" is an exceptional happening hosted by the Paris Institute of the Arab World (IMA) from September 23 through January 11.
Thousand colors' Morocco, an exceptional happening in Paris
The event, fruit of the will of HM King Mohammed VI and French President François Hollande, is the largest event of the kind dedicated to Morocco in France, says IMA.

Various aspects of Moroccan creation will be showcased, particularly plastic arts, design, cinema, cartoons, architecture, dancing, drama, literature and handicraft.

The entire IMA nine-storey building, a master of architecture, will be used for this immense fair, from the basement auditorium, to the terrace overlooking the city's historic center, and the square where an immense tent will be erected.

The Institute says the exhibition will travel to Morocco and other Arab and European countries.

The happening is supervised by Jean-Hubert Martin, who successively managed Berne's Kunsthalle art museum and Paris museum of modern art of Centre Pompidou and the Paris national museum of Africa and Oceania arts.

He will be assisted by Moroccan art critic Moulim El Aroussi, critique d'art and Director of IMA's cultural actions Mohamed Metalsi.
