The education reform a priority for Benkirane
The education reform is a key priority of the government and the prelude to any reformist approach, said Saturday in Rabat head of government, Abdelilah Benkirane.

At a meeting organised by the Ministry of National Education and gathering heads of regional education and training (AREF) and representatives from the Ministry of Education, Mr. Benkirane found that a good management sector is dependent on "the granting of powers, resources and tools and the appropriate decisions to guarantee educational reform."
The PrimeMinister expressed the commitment of his government to support efforts by the Ministry of National Education "to examine the failures raised by the Minister of National Education and, in order to help their recovery and thereby promote the development of the country, "said a statement from the department.
For its part, the Minister of National Education, Mohamed El Ouafa, reiterated his appeal to regional and provincial officials to go into the field and visit the schools to inquire about their operations and their situation knowing that these visits help to make a concrete diagnosis system for better reform, noting that education reform is impossible unless one knows what happens inside classrooms.
And Mr. El Ouafa added that the essential mission of the department is not only to manage daily education, but also focuses on the training of future generations, who are spearheading the development and promotion of the sector , says the same source.
The minister called on leaders to build strong relationships with local authorities and politicians, because of their support for projects of educational reform and to establish partnerships with education unions and parent associations.
The meeting, whose proceedings were marked by the presence of central officials and recently appointed new leaders to high office, saw the balance sheet of achievements in terms of policies and procedures covering all aspects of the education system, in addition to organisation of workshops bringing together leaders of some regional academies and provincial delegates.
