Collapsing under more than 440 complaints about irregularities, the HCEP could call new presidential elections throughout the country.
The Electoral Commission could consider a new Egyptian presidential election
It was originally  due to announce the results of presidential elections on June 20,  however  the High Electoral Commission for the Egyptian Presidential (HCEP) was unable to comply with its previous commitment, reports the Russian agency Ria Novosti, quoting the Arabic daily state al Ahram.

Due to errors during the first counting, the HCEP summarily rejected the announcement of its results until the end of this week, while Al Ahram mentioned the high probability that the commission may  call for new ballot, given the sheer number of appeals and complaints of irregularity filed by both the Egyptian presidential finalists.

Organized chaos in organizational, institutional, and legal, voting, have put  the candidate in the running for  the Army, General Ahmed Shafik and that of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood , Mohamed Morsi, in question. It  may
go wrong in view of  the fact that both sides have announced themselves to be  the winner of the election, even before the HCEP has finished its count.

Al Ahram reports that for the first time revolutionary political forces are uniting with the  Muslim Brotherhood in order to counterbalance what they see as a threat to the handover of power to a civilian authority.Mohamed Morsi has promised non islamist parties positions in the government and a say in drafting the constitution.

Human Rights Watch has said the moves suggest there will not be a "meaningful" handover of power to a civilian administration by 30 June and conditions "ripe" for further human rights abuses have been created.
