Paris - The speech on the Moroccan education policy, given by HM King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the Revolution of the King and the People, is of paramount importance as it mirrors the King's concerns on the current education policy, French university professor Thierry Rambaud said.

In an article entitled "King of Morocco opens education large-scale project", Rambaud said that the sovereign's basic idea is that with no real long term educational policy, Morocco's economic and social difficulties cannot be resolved.

He said that HM the King outlined in his speech the flaws in the country's public education and training system, recalling that the monarch urged the government to speed up the adoption of laws on the higher education council laid down in the constitution and tasked Omar Azziman to be its president delegate.

He went on saying that this is a real, coherent action for which HM the King is calling to ensure Morocco's bright future.
