Speaker of House of Advisors meets with speaker of Mauritius' National Assembly
Rabat - Speaker of the House of Advisors Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah met, on Monday in Rabat, with speaker of Mauritius' national assembly Abdool Razack Mohamed Ameen Peeroo.
A statement by the House said that the two sides surveyed means and ways to promote ties between the two law-making bodies to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
They also discussed topics of shared interest, notably international terrorism and the need to reinforce global peace and security and achieve sustainable development, it added.
Biadillah lauded the Mauritius' wise decision to withdraw its recognition of the SADR fake entity, deeming that such decision is in conformity with the interests of the Sahara's inhabitants and fosters the region's security and stability.
