The notorious Galvan had granted in July royal pardon which was revoked in August. An official release of the Royal cabinet had explqined that because of the "gravity of the crimes committed by the person concerned, as well as out of respect for victims' rights", HM King Mohammed VI decided to revoke His pardon. The man was re-arrested in Spain last August.

Spain's ministers council says it "authorized the named Daniel Galvan to serve the rest of his prison sentence delivered by Moroccan judiciary authorities," in a Spanish prison.

However, the Spanish government says the measure is still linked to the decision of the Auciencia nacional, Spain's highest jurisdiction.
