Spain's defense chief of staff meets Morocco's delegate minister of national defense administration
Rabat - Spanish defense chief of staff, Admiral Fernando Garcia Sanchez, was received on Wednesday by delegate-minister of national defense administration Abdeltif Loudyi, upon instructions of HM King Mohammed VI.

The Spanish top military officer, currently visiting Morocco with a military delegation examined with the Moroccan official prospects of developing Morocco-Spain cooperation in national defense.
The two officials voiced satisfaction at the vibrant bilateral cooperation and ambition to develop it.
On the same day, Admiral Sanchez held a meeting with General de corps d'armée, inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and commander of the southern Zone.
The meeting surveyed means to intensify military cooperation between the two countries which are maintaining privileged ties and strategic partnership.
Military cooperation between the two countries is governed by an agreement of cooperation and defense concluded in September 1989 that regulates training, exchange of visits, military exercises and stopovers of war vessels.
The two countries also signed in September 2013 a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in emergencies.
