Spain: meeting in Segovia of Spanish-Moroccan Joint Commission in charge of 2014 Marhaba Operation

Madrid - The Spanish-Moroccan Joint Commission in charge of 2014 Marhaba Operation held a meeting, Tuesday in Segovia (near Madrid) to discuss the measures to guarantee the best conditions for the success of this operation.

During this meeting, co-chaired by Wali, director of migration and border control at the Ministry of the Interior, Khalid Zerouali, and Spanish Under-Secretary of the Interior, Luis Aguilera Ruiz, the Moroccan side recalled the royal care vis-à-vis the Moroccan community abroad, as well as the royal guidelines to ensure the return of expats in the most favorable conditions. On this occasion, the two sides discussed the arrangements put in place to ensure the success of 2014 Marhaba Operation, which include mainly traffic flow, safety, security, and support.
