Spain: Ryanair launches two new routes to Rabat in November

Madrid - Low-cost airline company Ryanair announced on Wednesday the launch in November of two new air routes to Rabat from the Spanish cities of Madrid and Girona.

 Four weekly flights will be operated starting November 6 by the company between Rabat and the Spanish capital, Ryanair said in a statement, adding that for the city of Girona (Northern Spain), it offers three flights a week starting November 7.

This offer aims to meets the "huge demand" of passengers, head of the marketing and sales department of Ryanair-Spain, Luis Fernandez-Mellado, told the press, noting that these destinations are added to the eight already in operation between Spain and several Moroccan airports.

"With these two new air routes, Spanish tourists can visit the capital of Morocco which figures on the list of World Heritage of Humanity", he said.

Ryanair, which carries 2.5 million passengers per year, also serves the cities of Fez and Marrakech, considered the company's top destinations outside Europe for an investment of ê 210 million.
