Some 600 illegal immigrants attempt to storm into Melilla
Rabat - Some 600 illegal immigrants attempted, on Tuesday morning, to storm into the occupied city of Melilla at the Oued Tighorfatine level, in the rural commune of Beni Chiger (Nador province), said a statement by the Interior Ministry.

The immigrants did not comply even after firing warning gunshots and started throwing stones, wounding 5 law enforcement officers, said the statement.
102 people were arrested, including 28 injured who were rushed to the Hassani hospital of Nador to receive the necessary health care after being injured by the barbed wire fence surrounding the occupied city.
Another illegal immigration attempt was thwarted this Tuesday, at 3.30 a.m., at the Oued Tismghine level in the Farkhana village (Beni Nsar town), resulting in apprehending 150 people.
