Some 300 illegal immigrants attempted to storm into occupied city of Melilia, Interior Ministry
Rabat - Around 300 illegal immigrants tried, on Sunday night, to storm into the occupied city of Melilia, at the level of Tighorfatine, rural commune of Béni Chiker (Nador Province), according to the Interior Ministry.

The immigrants did not comply even after firing warning gunshot and started throwing stones, wounding 13 law enforcement officers, the ministry said in a statement.
Ninety-six people were arrested, including 14 who were rushed to the Hassani hospital of Nador to receive the necessary health care after being injured by the barbed wire fence surrounding the occupied city.
