SYMPHOS 2013 in Agadir from May 6 to 10
Agadir - The 2nd International Symposium on Innovation and Technology in the phosphate industry (SYMPHOS 2013) will be held from May 6 to 10 in Agadir, on the initiative of the Office Cherifien des Phosphates (OCP) and the participation of several industrial companies, engineering offices and equipment manufacturers.

Through plenary lectures, oral presentations and thematic workshops, various topics related to the phosphate industry will be addressed, starting with geological prospecting and mining to the chemical recovery of phosphates and derivatives, indicates Amar Drissi, executive director in charge of the industrial pole of the OCP on the web-site dedicated to this event.
The same official said that the sessions on topics such as the environment, energy, sustainable development, agriculture and fertilisation are scheduled for this meeting, which also includes a visit to the largest mining industrial platform Khouribga and another chemical Jorf Lasfar platform.
The organisers also provide courses and training workshops and upgrade knowledge and meetings with world experts in each field, knowing that an entire platform and logistics are dedicated to exhibition stands for companies interested in presentation of their products.
More than 100 booths of 10 m2 are prepared at the exhibition site of SYMPHOS 2013, the source said, adding that a meeting space for B to B will be open to all participants, who will also be entitled to a program social and tourist attractions to discover an authentic city like Agadir.
The 2011 edition of SYMPHOS (Marrakech) was marked by the presence of 800 participants from 40 countries from all continents, presenting 114 oral presentations and six conferences, in addition to holding 8 workshops on topics related to phosphate and 4 show stands, the establishment of 73 exhibition booths and 150 meeting organization B to B, excluding direct meetings at the stands and spaces provided for this purpose.
