Jeudi 9 Septembre 2021

Kigali - The Rwandan President, Paul Kagame, received Morocco's Bouchra Hajij, President of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB), who is on a visit to Rwanda. This audience took place on the sidelines of CAVB Nations Volleyball Championship, held in Kigali with the participation of 16 countries, including Morocco.

President Kagame and Ms. Hajij discussed, on this occasion, the development of African sport, as well as the strengthening of Africa's presence in international sporting events.

They also discussed ways to deepen cooperation between Rwanda and the Confederation, especially in terms of the development of mechanisms for the exchange of expertise, in addition to training and sports infrastructure. This meeting was held in the presence of Rwanda's minister of Youth and Sports, Romare Mbabzi, as well as other sports and political figures. This reception is proof the active involvement of Moroccan executives in parallel diplomacy policy, advocated by HM King Mohammed VI, as well as the place occupied by Moroccan officials in international organizations.
