Royal message to council of Arab interior ministers is a quantum leap in Arab security action, Hassad

The new concept of security, whose bases and goals were laid down in the royal message, will enable us to protect our societies against all forms of crime, by adopting an approach based on the respect of human rights and putting the citizen at the heart of interests, and by establishing a climate propitious for stability, as part of a positive interactivity between security services and citizens, he said at the 31st session of the council of Arab interior ministers.

He added that Arab countries are urged, pursuant to the spirit of the royal message, to elaborate a common Arab security charter taking account of the continuously-changing juncture in the Arab world at the security, economic, social and human rights levels.

The Moroccan minister lauded the regularity of the meetings of the council of Arab interior ministers and the positive cooperation between security services of Arab states.
