Royal Navy Rescues 19 Would-be Immigrants

Rabat - A coast guard of the Royal Navy on Saturday rescued a makeshift boat carrying 10 would-be immigrants of Sub-Saharan origin, a military source said. The same coast guard on Sunday rescued 9 would-be immigrants of Sub-Saharan origin, the source added. All the rescued people were in a very poor health condition. They were brought back safe and sound to the port of Tangier after receiving the necessary health care on board the Royal Navy coast guard. They were handed over afterwards to the Gendarmerie Royale for the usual procedures, according to the same source.
