Road accident kills 5, injures 3 near Marrakech

Marrakech - Five people died and 3 others were gravely wounded on Wednesday in a road accident at the Tasoufit village, in the Saada rural commune near the city of Marrakech.

According to local authorities, the accident took place at 3.30 a.m. on the road 212 linking Marrakech to Imintanout.

A tourism minibus skidded and collided with a tree due to speed, they added.

The wounded were rushed to Marrakech Ibn Tofail hospital to receive the necessary health care.
