Ramid meets in Rabat with Malian peer on cooperation and transitional justice

After the talks, Aly Bathily said in a statement to the press that he discussed with Ramid the different reforms undertaken by Morocco in the field of justice, mainly transitional justice, to take advantage of the Moroccan solid experience in the area.

He added that Morocco, this brotherly country, made huge strides in terms of reforms mainly in relation with the civil law, trade law and family law.

With the crisis in Mali, the traditional form of justice is not capable of solving the problems resulting from the current juncture, said the Malian official, voicing the wish that his department gets inspired and adjusts the Moroccan reforms to the Malian system.
