RAM Launches New Special Flight Program as of July 15
Rabat - Following the release issued by Moroccan authorities authorizing air and sea travels between Morocco and the rest of the world under some conditions, Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announces the launch of a new special flight program as of July 15, 2020. This program, which has been set up in perfect coordination with the relevant Moroccan authorities, concerns a limited number of destinations, RAM points out Friday in a release.
Flights can be purchased through the company’s website (www.royalairmaroc.com) and through its call centers and sales offices. In accordance with the conditions set by the Moroccan government, the eligible passengers must fulfil the conditions required by the Moroccan authorities.
Thus, flights to Morocco are open to all Moroccan citizens (tourists stranded abroad, students or residents abroad and their families) as well as to citizens of other nationalities living in Morocco, the source says, adding that flights from Morocco are open to Moroccans living abroad as well as to citizens of other nationalities. Regarding students newly admitted to university institutions, businessmen and citizens forced to go abroad for medical care as well as foreigners living in Morocco, they must have an exceptional authorization issued by the prefecture of their province.
Passengers must present, at check-in, the results of a PCR test of less than 48 hours as well as a serological test, while children under the age of 11 are exempt from tests. Royal Air Maroc also recalls that wearing a mask is compulsory on all its flights and that only handbags, bags for children and computers are allowed on board as cabin baggage.
