Qatar Airways Launches New Doha-Rabat Flight

Rabat – Qatari flag carrier Qatar Airways will launch a new flight connecting Rabat and Doha.

The company will serve the Doha-Rabat flight via Marrakech. TTR Weekly reported that the company also operates daily flights to Casablanca.

The news outlet also announced that the Qatari airline signed a joint business agreement with Morocco’s state-owned airline Royal Air Maroc.

The chief executive of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are pleased to launch this new gateway, while also increasing our presence in the country by expanding our joint business agreement with Royal Air Maroc. Our expansion in Morocco demonstrates our commitment to the region, which began in 2002.”

TTR Weekly said that Qatar Airways has five weekly flights connecting Doha with Marrakech through Casablanca. The company also operates two direct weekly flights from Doha to Casablanca.

Last week, French outlet Air Journal announced that Royal Air Maroc leased Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-300ER to serve its Casablanca-Montreal flights.
