Polish economy minister calls for holding Moroccan days in Warsaw

Warsaw - Polish deputy prime minister and economy minister Janusz Piechocinki called, on Thursday, for organizing Moroccan days in Warsaw to spread knowledge about Morocco's culture, civilization and economic assets.

During a meeting in Warsaw with a delegation from the house of advisors led by its speaker Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah, on a working visit in Poland, Piechocinki, who lauded the Moroccan economic resilience which resembles that of Poland, added that these events will offer the occasion for businessmen, owners of companies and reporters to get to know better the Kingdom through investment, tourism, culture and art.

The official noted that Morocco and Poland are two emerging countries in north Africa and eastern Europe and could serve as a bridge between the two continents to diversify their partnership.

He also said that Poland, which has recently organized a seminar dubbed "Go Africa", set the objective of increasing threefold economic exchanges with Africa during the three coming years. "We are counting a lot on Morocco as a platform to Africa to achieve this goal," he said.
