Panama Set to Promote Cooperation, Friendship Ties with Morocco (Vice President)

Vice-President of Panama, Foreign Minister, Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado said, here Tuesday, that her country is determined to promote its cooperation and friendship relations with Morocco. In a statement to the press following her talks with Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar, Ms. de Saint Malo stressed the will driving the two countries to explore new ways to promote their all-round cooperation. A will reflected in the signing of several cooperation agreements in the fields of shipping, ports, free zones, culture and academic training, she added. 

The Panamanian official said these agreements will establish the appropriate framework for establishing a number of initiatives that both countries will endeavor to materialize in the near future. 

Ms. de Saint Malo also said President Juan Carlos Varela attaches particular importance to strengthening relations with Morocco, adding that the two countries are determined to undertake many concrete initiatives in the near future.
