Over 7,400 Moroccans obtained Spanish citizenship in 2013
Madrid - A total of 7,4036 Moroccans obtained the Spanish citizenship in 2013, Spanish sources said.

Out of 71,383 applications, Moroccans ranked third in terms of naturalization, after the Ecuadorians (11,336) and the Columbians (10,973) and ahead of the Peruvians (7,336) and the Bolivians (6,673).
According to latest figures of the Spanish authority of immigration and emigration, a total of 880,789 Moroccan nationals have a Spanish stay permit, out of 5.46 million aliens.
