Over 6kg of cocaine seized in Mohammed V airport

Casablanca - Police services at Mohammed V International airport arrested, on Saturday, two nationals from Guyana (South America) carrying 6.3 kg of highly concentrated cocaine.

The banned substance was concealed in plastic bags stored in the double bottoms of two suitcases belonging to suspected smugglers coming from Sao Paulo (Brazil) to Cotonou (Benin), Head of the airport judicial police, Abdelhadi Siba, pointed out.

In over 20 operations, airport authorities arrested 80 people from different countries and seized 300 kg of cocaine, the same source added.
