Over 60kg of Pure Cocaine Seized at Tangier-Med Port
Tangier - Moroccan authorities seized, Friday at Tangier-Med port, 61 kg of pure cocaine in a container coming from Brazil, customs sources said.
The banned substance was concealed in the form of plates in two suitcases placed in a container coming from Brazil with a sugar shipment, the customs sources said, adding that the relevant services at the Tangier-Med port inspected the container after receiving information about the existence of a drug shipment.
This operation was conducted jointly by the customs services, national security and the royal gendarmerie, the same source pointed out.
