Official calls for fostering coordination and joint action to promote expats' situation
Rabat - Secretary general of the Council of Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) Abdellah Boussouf called, on Monday in Rabat, for fostering coordination and joint action between the different stakeholders to the promote the situation of Moroccan expatriates.

Speaking at a meeting with the press following the speech given by HM King Mohammed VI on the 16th throne day, Boussouf said that each stakeholder cannot work alone and that all institutions are urged to work jointly to serve the causes of the Moroccan community.

In this regard, he called for setting up a public policy in the field of immigration, based on scientific knowledge, while involving the diaspora in advisory institutions and bodies of governance and participatory democracy pursuant to the instructions laid down in the royal speech.

He recalled that the CCME put the immigration issue at the center of its public debates, noting that the council's efforts in this area contributed to organizing yearly meetings in the different Moroccan universities.
