OEG- Paris director : Algerian conditions for reopening borders with Morocco are 'blackmail'
"Alger tries to send the ball in the court of Morocco with conditionality that might be called blackmail to reopen the border," Charles Saint-Prot told Moroccan radio channel Medi 1 Radio in its evening news on Thursday.

The director of the OEG said this blackmail shows that Algiers will not improve relations with Morocco," adding that " Algiers almost- insulting requirements reflects the will of the Algerian regime to ignore this issue, and that it is the responsible one for tense relations with Morocco and the paralysis of the Arab Maghreb Union. "

He considered the Algerian terms as "outrageous and shocking both in form and substance."

With regard to "stopping the vilification campaign against Algeria" required by Alger, Charles Saint-Prot noted that "it is actually Algeria that is constantly denigrating Morocco."
