Number of criminal assaults down 2% in 2013, Interior minister
Rabat - Interior minister Mohamed Hassad announced, on Tuesday in Rabat, that the number of criminal assaults decreased by 2% in 2013.

Answering a question at the House of Representatives on the alarming increase of attacks against citizens, the Minister stressed that the number of victims of homicide fell by 2% as did robbery (-1.3) and theft (- 2 pc).
In Casablanca, 72 people were killed with premeditation in 2013 against 8 in Marrakech, 37 in Fez and 22 in Tangier, he said, noting that these cities experienced a decline in the number of voluntary homicides compared to 2012.
