Rabat - Head of government Abdelilah Benkirane said that no party intervened to direct or stop talks concerning a possible participation of the RNI party in the government majority after the withdrawal of the Istiqlal Party.

In a statement on Friday, Benkirane described as "false" the information run by some papers and websites concerning the negotiations with Salah Eddine Mezouar, president of the RNI party.
The six meetings with Mezouar took place in a friendly climate, the statement said.
The head of government added that he is continuously in contact with HM the King given that he is the head of the state and the supreme arbitrator.
