Nine dead in a helicopter crash in southern Morocco
Nine people died Wednesday in the crash of a military helicopter which also caused two serious injuries in the region of Guelmim (southwest of Morocco), hospital sources told AFP.

The accident occurred in the afternoon and the reason is still unknown. Of the 11 occupants of the aircraft, eight died on the spot, the sources who requested anonymity.
The three seriously injured were taken to the military hospital in Guelmim, where one of them succumbed to his injuries, sources said. An airbase of the Royal Armed Forces is in this region Guelmim.
