Rabat - President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, left Morocco on Monday after a two-day official working and friendship visit, at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI.
On his departure from the Rabat-Salé airport, the Nigerian President was greeted notably by head of government, Saad Eddine El Othmani.
After reviewing a detachment of the Royal Air Force that made the honors, Buhari was also greeted by the minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of Rabat Prefecture, and the president of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, as well as by several other civilian and military figures.
The Nigerian President paid an official working and friendship visit to Morocco on June 10-11, mainly marked by tête-à-tête talks with HM the King and the signing of three bilateral cooperation agreements, including one relating to the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline strategic project.
