New Moroccan immigration law will help immigrants rebuild easily their lives, PACE rapporteur
Rabat, Jun 10, 2015 (MAP) - The new Moroccan law on immigration will help immigrants living in the Kingdom to rebuild easily their lives, said Tineke Strik, rapporteur of committee on migration, refugees and displaced people at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

The adoption of the new Moroccan law on immigration will enable immigrants rebuild easily their lives, Strik told the press after a meeting with secretary general of the national council for human rights Mohamed Essabbar.

The talks touched on the situation of immigrants and refugees in Morocco which is becoming a destination for immigrants, she said, noting that these immigrants face difficulties to have access to the job market.

"Morocco is facing itself the problem of immigration of people coming from sub-Saharan Africa, we are here to see how immigrants and refugees are treated in Morocco, if they are protected and if they enjoy security", she said.
