Meknes - Morocco will be awarded a prize in June by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for having achieved the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) two years ahead of the deadline, director general of FAO José Graziano da Silva announced on Wednesday in Meknes.

Held in partnership with FAO, this event is attended by prominent figures as Spanish agriculture and food minister Miguel Arias Canete, French minister of agriculture, food processing and forests Stéphane Le Foll, Saudi agriculture minister Dr Fahd Bin Abdulrahmane Bin Suleiman, Malian rural development minister Bakary Treta and Ivorian minister in charge of the agriculture department Mamadou Songafowa Coulibaly.
