Morocco takes part in Ottawa in 40th session of OIF
Ottawa - A delegation from the House of Representatives took part in the 40th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), which took place on July 4-8 in Ottawa.

Led by Chafik Rachadi, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Moroccan delegation was composed of Youssef Gharbi (member of the Justice and Development Group), Abdelmalek Bekkaoui and Rachida Smaili (National Rally of Independents Group) and Cherkaoui Roudani (Authenticity and Modernity Group).
The members of the delegation participated in the meetings of the OIF Bureau, the standing committees of the Assembly, mainly the Political Committee, the Parliamentary Affairs Committee and the Committee on Development and Cooperation, and the Network of Parliamentarian Women of this Assembly. At these meetings, the Moroccan participants gave recommendations and amendments to several resolutions to be adopted at the General Assembly and presented the future plans of action which will be discussed at the next summit of the OIF slated in November, in the Senegalese capital of Dakar.
