Morocco starts paying job-loss compensation next March

Rabat - Morocco will start paying job-loss compensations next March at the latest, said labor and social affairs minister, Abdeslam Seddiki.

"In March 2014, at the latest, compensations will have to be paid", the minister told "L'Economiste" daily, stressing that the draft law will be submitted to the government for approval in the coming days.

The state will participate for three years in paying for this compensation, he added, explaining that the National agency for job and competence promotion (ANAPEC) will also hold training sessions for persons on the dole.
