Morocco's Presence in Central America Reinforced Every Day, Says Moroccan Minister

Rabat - Morocco's presence in Central America is reinforced every day, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, said Tuesday in Rabat.
"The Kingdom attaches particular importance to Central America and its presence in this continent is reinforced every day", Bouaida told MAP following her meeting with a delegation of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), where the kingdom sits as a permanent observer member. 

The Minister also stressed the diversity of relations between Morocco and the Central American countries, emphasizing the importance of political dialogue at the parliamentary level and the interest to consolidate economic and security relations. 

In this respect, she underlined the fundamental role of parliamentarians in strengthening relations between Morocco and Parlacen member countries.

For his part, Secretary of the Board of the Central American Parliament, Mauricio Diaz (Nicaragua) said he discussed with Ms. Bouaida several issues of common interest and future cooperation agreements.
